Wii Features Comparison
When the xBox 360 was launched a new generation of consoles was born and with it new expectations and features previously unheard of. The Xbox 360 introduced to the mind-blowing graphics, hi-speed online compatibility and excellent tri-core processor, which put gaming in a different league altogether. It looked like this gaming device had everything that there was to offer – and the price indicated how valuable such features were.
However, the Nintendo Wii has changed that conception as soon as it has been launched in the market. Not only it offers many added advantages to all other (latest) gaming devices, it is also coming at an astonishing affordable price. In fact, the pricing is one of its most attractive features.
The Nintendo Wii is a greatly improved version on the existing models, including the latest craze, the Xbox 360. The latter has had a few hiccups after the launching:
- Lack of availability – people had to book it months in advance and even then they were not assured of their set. On the other hand from day one, the Nintendo Wii in stock and easily available at all the exclusive outlets. People were able to enjoy the game right from day one, and nobody had to suffer waiting queues.
- Internet compatibility snag – the Xbox comes equipped with excellent hi-speed broadband engine (3.2Ghz); however, it cannot download from the Internet unless the right software is installed first. This problem is not there with the Nintendo Wii because it comes with direct connectivity and can download just as easy. With this feature the Nintendo Wii can download and use other excellent games such as Super Nintendo, Sega (Genesis), Nintendo DS, Turbo Grafs-16, etc, which adds not only to your massive great game collection, but also to the magnificent experience of playing.
- The Playstation 3 has introduced hi-innovation into gaming first with its Blue-ray drive and Sixaxis controller, which was vastly improved upon by the latest sensation worldwide, the Nintendo Wii. The latter offers a sensor-based remote, which beats all records in pleasure and action simulation.
- Most of the past (latest) hi-tech play-stations are upwards compatible with other games of the same and similar genre. However, the Nintendo Wii is the only one yet, which is compatible backwards. You can play and use all the extras you have with the GameCube when you use the Nintendo Wii. This is a great feature as it does not render obsolete the past model and hence, adds to the pleasure of playing the old with the new games.
- All the past Playstations have brought in excellent features with their games, and each of them conquered the hearts of their fans. The Nintendo Wii has the advantage of building on all the past experiences and indeed it brought out the best ever features with the Zelda-The Twilight Princess, Brawl and Pokemon Battle, Corruption and others that are yet to find their match is maneuverability and level of experience.
All in all, the Nintendo Wii is the latest and the best next generation gaming system ever!
